MECHANIMA, is a technology company founded in 2024 under the leadership of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Adnan Kefal. By productizing various high-tech numerical-experimental methods developed through academic studies and industrial projects, the company aims to introduce these technologies to industries such as defense, aviation, maritime, construction and automotive and to reshape engineering practices. The name MECHANIMA is formed by combining the words "MECHA", meaning machine and its derivatives, and "ANIMA", meaning unconscious, automatic mind. The technologies within MECHANIMA are developed in accordance with the founding purpose of the company and the meaning of its name, with the aim of being a mind that is always working in the background of vehicles exposed to all kinds of mechanical conditions in our lives, a mechanical brain that never sleeps. MECHANIMA's technologies include real-time structural health monitoring, advanced composite structural analyses and non-destructive damage detection methods, topology optimization methods that increase fracture toughness while reducing structural weight, and strength analyses in large-scale engineering structures.
Our vision, is to ensure widespread use of our technologies in the domestic defense, aviation, maritime, construction and automotive industries by 2027, and to make our products the first software and engineering solutions that come to mind in the global structural health monitoring market by 2030. MECHANIMA aims to constantly expand the knowledge gained by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Adnan Kefal and his research team through academic research and industrial projects with new R&D projects. In this context, we aim to carry out new projects primarily to advance our domestic technologies by constantly advancing our products in line with customer needs.
